Welcome to ChainPicks. These Terms of Service govern your use of our blockchain-based sports challenge platform. By connecting your wallet and using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Platform Nature

ChainPicks is not a gambling platform. We provide skill-based sports prediction tournaments where success depends on sports knowledge and strategic decision-making.

All game logic and transactions are handled by smart contracts on the Base blockchain. We do not control the outcome of tournaments or hold custody of user funds.

3. User Responsibilities

  • • You must be 18 years or older to use ChainPicks
  • • You are responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys
  • • You understand that blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • • You comply with your local laws regarding participation in prediction games
  • • You will not attempt to manipulate or exploit the platform

4. Smart Contract Operation

Tournament rules, entry fees, and prize distributions are encoded in smart contracts. These contracts execute automatically based on predetermined conditions.

Once you submit a pick or join a tournament, the transaction is recorded on the blockchain and cannot be reversed or modified.

5. Limitations and Disclaimers

ChainPicks provides the platform "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for:

  • • Smart contract bugs or vulnerabilities
  • • Network congestion or transaction failures
  • • Changes in sports schedules or match cancellations
  • • Loss of funds due to user error or wallet compromise
  • • Third-party wallet or infrastructure failures

6. Prohibited Activities

  • • Attempting to manipulate smart contract functions
  • • Sharing insider information about match outcomes
  • • Using automated tools or bots
  • • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

7. Platform Updates

We may update the platform interface and deploy new smart contracts to improve functionality. Any major changes will be communicated through our official channels as well as through our Contract Updates tab.
