ChainPicks does not collect, store, or process any personal data. We have no databases, no user accounts, and no data collection systems.

  • • No accounts: No registration, passwords, or user profiles
  • • No cookies: No tracking cookies or persistent identifiers

3. Blockchain Data

All game data exists on the public Base blockchain. This includes:

  • • Your wallet address (public by nature of blockchain)
  • • Tournament entries and team picks
  • • Transaction history and prize distributions
  • • Smart contract interactions

Important: This data is publicly viewable on the blockchain and is not controlled by ChainPicks. Blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be deleted.

4. How ChainPicks Works

ChainPicks is a decentralized application (dApp) that runs entirely on blockchain technology:

  • • Frontend: Served from your browser, no server-side data processing
  • • Wallet connection: Direct connection between your wallet and smart contracts
  • • Game logic: Executed entirely by smart contracts on Base network
  • • Data storage: All game data stored on blockchain, not our servers

5. Third-Party Services

ChainPicks uses minimal third-party services that may have their own privacy policies:

  • • RainbowKit: Wallet connection interface (no data stored by us)
  • • Base Network: Blockchain infrastructure (public ledger)
  • • Your Wallet: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc. (your responsibility)

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of your chosen wallet provider and the Base network.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data protection rights don't apply. However:

  • • Wallet control: You maintain full control over your wallet and its data
  • • Blockchain permanence: On-chain transactions cannot be deleted or modified
  • • Platform independence: You can interact with smart contracts directly if desired
